Data Deletion Instructions

This page explains how to request deletion of personal data connected to Travel-Luck interactions, including requests related to Meta, Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, and other contact channels.

1. Current Meta Integration Status

The current Travel-Luck website does not create user accounts through Facebook Login, does not provide an in-site Meta account connection, and does not store app-scoped Facebook or Instagram user IDs. You may still contact Travel-Luck through Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, email, newsletter signup, Cal.com, or other third-party services.

This page is provided as a public Data Deletion Instructions URL for Meta App Dashboard or App Review purposes. It is not an automated Data Deletion Callback endpoint.

2. How to Request Deletion

To request deletion of data held by Travel-Luck, email info@travel-luck.com with the subject line Meta Data Deletion Request.

Please include:

  • Your name and contact email address.
  • The Meta profile, Facebook Page, Instagram handle, or message thread involved, if relevant.
  • A short description of the interaction or data you want deleted.
  • Any other detail that helps us find the record, such as the approximate date of your inquiry or booking request.

We may ask for reasonable verification before processing a deletion request, especially if the request relates to a message, booking, or travel-planning record.

3. What We Delete or Anonymize

Where applicable, a verified deletion request may cover:

  • direct inquiry records and stored message details held by Travel-Luck;
  • contact details connected to a travel-planning request;
  • newsletter email records, if you ask to unsubscribe and delete the signup record;
  • internal notes tied to your travel inquiry where they are no longer needed;
  • Meta-derived identifiers, tokens, or connection records if a Meta API integration is added in the future.

4. What We Cannot Delete

Travel-Luck can delete or anonymize data that it controls. We cannot directly delete:

  • data held directly by Meta, Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, or another third-party platform;
  • messages or records that remain inside your own Meta account or inbox;
  • records we are legally required to keep, such as tax, accounting, security, dispute, or fraud-prevention records;
  • information that has already been anonymized so it can no longer identify you.

To remove data held by Meta itself, use the privacy and account settings inside Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, or Meta Account Center.

5. Timeline and Confirmation

We aim to process verified deletion requests within 30 days where possible. If a request is complex or we need more information to identify the relevant records, we will contact you by email. Once deletion or anonymization is complete, we will send a confirmation email.
